He wonders how God could be concerned with the affairs of mere men when looking at His remarkable attributes. It’s remarkable to think that the God who created this massive universe, of which we can’t measure the ends, is invested in the lives of men. But He is. And the fact that we matter to Him is meant to draw us to Himself.
Romans 1:20: “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” God’s display of Himself in the world we see reveals who He is. If we see this as His revelation to us, we will seek to understand it better in order to understand Him better. It becomes a means to an end. But seeking to understand our world without this perspective is the end in itself. You may understand the world better, but in the end it’s an empty discovery.

The realization of His power beyond our comprehension have a humbling effect that can only result in an attitude of worship.
